Info Session: 10893NAT Cert IV in Learning Design & Facilitation
Finally, L&D leaders and professionals have a choice.
The 10893NAT Certificate IV in Learning Design & Facilitation is designed specifically for current or aspiring L&D professionals – those who design, develop, deliver, and/or evaluate non-accredited training programs and learning pathways.
It is clear in the description the TAE40116 – Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) that this qualification reflects the roles of individuals delivering training and assessment services in the vocational education and training (VET) sector.
In that sense, the Cert IV TAE is in many cases fit for purpose, but for a lot of organisations and L&D professionals, it misses the mark in the design, development, and delivery of non-VET material. And yet many public service departments and organisations of all sizes are insisting that their L&D people complete the Cert IV TAE, even when it is neither relevant nor useful in skilling their people.
And many independent L&D professionals feel forced to complete the Cert IV TAE because of misplaced requirements by potential clients. Even for those trainers that do present VET courses, the TAE isn’t able to actually develop their skills in designing, developing, delivering, and/or evaluating relevant content.
And for those aspiring to enter the learning and development community the Cert IV TAE does little to prepare them.
This is why the 10893NAT Certificate IV in Learning Design & Facilitation is so important in raising the standards in learning and development.
The Institute for Learning & Performance mission is to raise the standards in L&D and this new 10893NAT Certificate IV in Learning Design & Facilitation (Cert IV LD&F) does just that.
To help organisations and individuals understand what the Cert IV LD&F is all about and why it is important, ILP will facilitate a number of informative and informal online sessions.
These will NOT BE a sales presentation and are aimed at informing potential program participants and answering any questions you might have.
So if you want to understand the choices you now have and what is involved in the Cert IV LD&F, you are invited to join Kerry Brocks, ILP Founder and inspirator of the Cert IV LD&F and some of the facilitators and pilot group participants for this informal online session. It will be well worth investing an hour.
Some of what we will cover includes:
- Why the need for the new Cert IV
