Asking the right questions is the key!

The Critical Thinking Community (criticalthinking.org) defines Critical Thinking as that mode of thinking – about any subject, content, or problem – in which the thinker improves the quality of his or her thinking by skillfully taking charge of the structures inherent in thinking and imposing intellectual standards upon them.

By developing insights into what critical thinking is and seeing some of the critical thinking tools that alter the basic approach to thinking, participants will:

• understand the nature of critical and creative thinking and how they provide a powerful framework for seeking out solutions.
• appreciate how the deliberate application of critical thinking can lead to creativity on demand and inspires learning at all levels.
• explore a toolkit of critical thinking tools that focuses creative energy when and where desired.
