The Use of Psychological Type in Learning and Development
Masterclass with Andrew Mountford and Adam Le Good
Recorded 20th July 2022
Whether you use Psychological Instruments in your training or not, an understanding of Psychological Type is key to understanding our clients and getting the most from groups.
In this practical Masterclass Andrew Mountford (National Secretary of AusAPT) and Adam Le Good (Fundamental Training and Development) will explore applications of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI®) in the field of Learning and Development. L&D professionals have used Type Theory in training, facilitation, team building, coaching, career development and more.
The questions we will address in the session are:
- Who uses the MBTI®?
- How do they use it?
- What are some of the alternatives to MBTI® – ‘horses for courses’?
- Benefits of MBTI® compared to other psychometric instruments
- Caveats – our experience of what doesn’t work – let us spare you the pain!
