Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

ILP offers you opportunities to develop your expertise through online masterclasses, professional development programs and events. We offer a comprehensive range of high-quality learning and development options to gain valuable CPD points.

What is CPD?

Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is how you maintain, improve and broaden your knowledge, expertise and competence in your profession.  CPD Points shows employers, clients and colleagues that you are committed to upholding competency within your industry.

  • Assess your Capabilities

ILP offers a FREE L&D capability assessment to discover your development needs and create your personalised learning pathway.

  • Demonstrate your professionalism

By continuing your professional development you are showing your commitment to your career and ongoing learning.

  • Enhance your employability

CPD strengthens your personal branding, professional profile, and is a key differentiator in your employability.

How to Gain CPD Points

Sample Digital Badge

CPD can involve any relevant learning activity, whether formal and structured or informal and self-directed. Generally, one CPD point is equal to one hour of active learning. That means you get one point for every hour you spend on an ILP learning activity.  For example, if you attend one of our Masterclasses you would earn 1 CPD Point or if you attended a full-day workshop (i.e. 9 am – 5 pm with an hour lunch break) you would gain 7 CPD points. You can earn CPD points from ILP events and programs as well as any active learning you do.

Here is how simple it is:

Step 1.  Download the editable ILP CPD Activity Record and save to your computer.

Step 2.  Add any professional development activities to your record and save form.

Step 3.  Email your CPD Activity Record to [email protected]

Step 4.  Once your CPD points are verified, ILP will issue you a digit badge showing your CPD total
